  • Currently, he is working as a Chairperson of Oncosciences, at the fortis escorts hospital.
  • He specialises in all adult cancers with a special interest in Breast Cancer, Lung Cancer, GI Malignancies, Genitourinary Cancer, Gynaecological malignancies, Lymphoma Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplants.
  • His interests also include Gastrointestinal, Urological,  and blood cancer of all types (Acute and Chronic Leukaemia, Lymphomas).
  • Besides, he does Concurrent Bio- Radiotherapy, Palliative Bio- Chemotherapy and Paediatric Chemotherapy.
  • He has also performed approximately 400 bone marrow/stem cell transplants for various cancers personally.
  • He introduced the first high-dose chemotherapy and peripheral blood stem cell transplant in India in 1994.
  • He spearheaded various clinical trials for cancer and has about 200 research publications in International and National medical journals.
  • He is also the Principal investigator of approximately 50 projects in AIIMS.
