- Dr. Sharad Sharma is a bariatric surgeon with a vast experience of more than 30 years and working at Fortis Hospital Mulund, Mumbai.
- He trained in Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery under Dr. Philip Schauer at The Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA.
- He has worked as an associate professor, and graduate, and post-graduate teacher at MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai.
- He also obtained the Diploma in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at Gem Hospital, Coimbatore (endorsed by the Society for American Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons, SAGES) under Dr. C Palanivelu.
- He also obtained training in D2 Gastrectomy at NUH, Singapore.
- Dr. Sharma has been performing Gl surgeries & laparoscopic and a variety of open, laparoscopic, and thoracoscopic procedures since 1998.
